GST Appeal

GST Appeal gives an opportunity to the aggrieved person to challenge the order of the lower authority with the higher authorities.

GST Appeal may be filed at various levels:

First Level of Appeal is against the Order passed by Adjudicating Authority and may be filed with First Appellate Authority.

Second Level of Appeal is against the Order passed by the First Appellate Authority and may be filed with Appellate Tribunal.

Third Level of Appeal is against the Order passed by the Appellate Tribunal and may be filed with the High Court.

Fourth Level of Appeal is against the Order passed by the High Court and may be filed with the Supreme Court.

Divorce

According to Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, marriage may be dissolved by a decree of divorce on the below grounds:
(i) Adultery: voluntary sexual intercourse with any person other than his or her spouse.
(ii) Cruelty.
(iii) Desertion: Deserted for a continuous period of not less than two years.
(iv) Conversion: Conversion to another religion.
(v) Unsound mind, or has been suffering continuously or intermittently from a mental disorder.
(vi) Leprosy: Has been suffering from a virulent and incurable form of leprosy
(vii) Venereal Disease: Has been suffering from venereal disease in a communicable form.
(viii) Has renounced the world by entering any religious order
(ix) Civil Death: Has not been heard of being alive for a period of seven years or more by those persons who would naturally have heard of it, had that party been alive.
(x) No resumption of cohabitation for a period of one year or upward after the passing of a decree for Judicial Separation.

Cheque Dishonour & Recovery of Money

Cheques are commonly used as mode of payments in commercial transactions, repayment of loans, payment of salaries, payment of bills etc.

Most of the Cheques got honoured, but there may be few cases of Cheque Dishonour on account of varied reasons.

The reason of dishonour of cheque is always mentioned in “Cheque Return Memo” which is issued by the drawee bank immediately at the time of dishonour of cheques.

According to Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, the dishonour of cheque is a criminal offence and punishable with two years of imprisonment or penalty or both.
